Take it at face value

있는 그대로 받아들이다

To accept or believe somebody or something to be exactly as it appears.

보이는 그대로 어떤 사람이나 어떤 것을 받아들이거나 믿어주다.

Synonym: Accept, as it seems

동의어: 받아들이다, 있는 그대로

Antonym: Read into it, dig deeper

반의어: 들여다보다, 깊게 파다

"He's brutally honest so when he tells you something, you can take it at face value."

"그 사람이 뭔가를 이야기할 때 그는 잔인할 정도로 솔직합니다. 그러니 있는 그대로 받아들이시면 됩니다."
