안녕하세요. 고급진영어 및 비즈니스회화를 함께나누고 스터디 해보겠습니다. 오늘도 아주 깔끔한 표현 몇가지를 소개드립니다. 

항상 기억하실 점은, 그냥 눈으로만 보지마시구 꼭 직접발음해보시고 체화시키시길 바라겠습니다.

Leadership isn't a perishable skill. I believe that people are naturally inclined to being leaders.

"리더십은 녹이 스는 스킬이 아닙니다. 저는 사람들이 자연적으로 리더가 되는 경향이 있다고 믿습니다."

 녹슬수 있는 기술, 지속적으로 연습하지 않으면 잃게 되는 기술.

A skill that can be lost if it isn't practiced on an ongoing basis.

예시:

"Leadership isn't a perishable skill. I believe that people are naturally inclined to being leaders."

"I'm stumped"

생각이 안나네..

단어나 반응을 어떻게 해야 할지 까먹은 경우.

When you're at a loss for words or a response.

예시:

"My friend asked me what dates I'm going on holiday and I'm stumped. I can't remember for the life of me."

("제 친구가 제가 어느 날짜에 여행을 가느냐고 물어봤는데 말문이 확 막혔네요. 아무리 생각해도 기억이 나질 않네요.")

Just to give you a preamble on this

서두를 알려드리자면

A way of indicating that you're going to provide context before saying something.

(어떤 것에 대해 말하기 전에 문맥을 알려주겠다고 시그널을 주는 것.)

예시: 

"Just to give you a preamble on this, there are a few people who will be at this party that can be a bit rude, so don't take it personally."

"문맥을 좀 알려드리자면, 이 파티에 약간 무례한 사람들이 올 것입니다, 그러니 너무 개인적으로 받아들이시는 마시고요."
